1000 Meilen für die Liebe
04.11.2001 |
ZDF |
Nine tourists are driving straight through Australia in a big off-road bus. From tropical Darwin through the Outback to Avers Rock and further through the surroundings of the Great Victoria Desert to the West Coast. An intense Down Under experience. An expedition much different from your typical tourist trip. It also becomes an expedition to our main protagnists’ souls: Anna, who falls in love with Thomas... but, unfortunately, Thomas is on his honeymoon with Conny; Konrad, who after decades of being married, finally realizes that love has left his life; Vicky, old and widowed, is fulfilling herself a life-long dream with this journey; Minchen, who knows that this journey is her last; Kurschera, whose life seems to be shadowed by a dark secret; Verena, who is going on this journey because she wants to get over her anxieties. And our main characters, Susi and Sammy. Susi is the travel guide and Sammy is the driver forced upon Susi because her affair with Hannes, driver of the previous tours, became too obvious. Sammy turns out to be a macho womanizer. Then the bus gets kidnapped by Zocker and Kiddy, two pseudo-gangsters, and this turns into a desperate test for everybody. The group transforms into a team and manages to escape. Hannes is too late. Almost too late for his love as well, because Sammy saves Susi’s life while they are fighting the kidnappers and starts an affair with her. That’s when Hannes deserts his truck and becomes the tenth tourist on board the bus. The tour into the desert starts in the shadows of Avers Rock, where the bus finally leaves its path, ends up totally wrecked and stuck in nowhereland – unlikely to be discovered by anybody. The water supply is going to last no longer than three days. A fight between life and death ensues for our twelve characters as they look back at their lives and feelings, find unknown strength, the strength to sacrifice certain things and even their lives for others.

Die Rosenkrieger - Ein neuer Fall
02.09.2005 |
SWR |
The two Hamburg lawyers Elvira Kupfer and Stefan Milloschinsky, who work more against each other than for or with each other, are challenged with a new, very delicate case. The young farmer Susanne Weber from Hunsrück does not want to stick to the marriage on paper anymore which Milloschinsky wrote the contract for and which she and Thomas Hahn, son of an industrial tycoon, agreed upon, just for financial reasons. They are contractually to be divorced soon and she refuses. She wants to stay married, because in the meantime, she is attracted to her young husband from a wealthy Baden-Baden family – but he is not attracted to her. Milloschinsky’s agreement is going to collapse like a house of cards and the Hamburg law firm is confronted with an expensive law-suit by Thomas Hahn’s father, Norbert. With a clever masquerade in mundane Baden-Baden, Elvira finally manages to make the impending disaster, which Milloschinsky has caused, go away. „Love at Second Sight“ is an hilarious mix-up comedy full of entertaining writing from the pen of comedy specialist Ulrich del Mestre.

Extremely charming and witty, she interviews renowned scientists with questions nobody else dares ask, even though everyone wants the answers. She criticizes books, films, Wiener Schnitzel and – definitely overdue! – German weather. Her monologues always leave the usual – and therefore safe – paths, and lead through extreme curves over dangerous cliffs. But no worries: Cordula Stratmann manages. Cordula Stratmann can do it. Du & Ich
13.10.2002 |
ZDF |
As a typical DINK couple (double income, no kids) that really love each other and have been in their relationship for years, Annette and Martin have mastered the „relationship-slalom“. She knows how to make him take her to theater plays, and he knows exactly how to get around his part of the housework. They fight, argue, tease each other and make up, like thousands of other couples in Germany. „You and Me“ is a funny and amusing TV-series that makes us laugh about „typical female“ or „typical male“ behaviour. It is a voyeuristic look behind the mask of the other sex. „How does he/she work?“, this is the main question that is answered in a humorous way in each episode. It doesn’t matter whether it’s about sex, careers, family secrets, illness or vacations – we will realize every time with a grin on our face that we know exactly this situation from our own experience. |

Kunden und andere Katastrophen
30.01.2003 |
ZDF |
Gong. At the dot of nine, the glass doors of „Hamburger Hof“, a luxury shopping mall, are opened and the glittering jewelry and scent of expensive perfumes stir happy feelings and hopefully the wish to buy. Yes, the dear shopper has to be persuaded first. Everything has to work like a Swiss watch: Bad management, relationship problems and grumpy sales personnel are not allowed. But the mall’s „backstage“ shows us the other side. Mr. Shopper, who is always the king, is about to arrive and there are enough catastrophes: A co-worker is sick, the register doesn’t balance, the managers are too controlling, colleagues plotting against each other and – last but not least – the competition isn’t sleeping and is giving the Mall Manager a hard time. House Hamster „Mr. Koenig“ makes sure that life remains exciting as well. He scurries through the mall, up and down the escalators, doesn’t miss anything and sometimes even plays Cupid for some of our guests and employees – that’s „Shoppers and Other Catastrophes“. |
