When Antionia Voigts visits her home in Namibia for the first time after seven years, she finds that the romantic feelings she has always had for her neighbor, farmer Hans Kappes, haven’t changed. She still loves him. Unfortunately, his situation hasn’t changed either during the past years. Hans Kappes is still married to Anne, a quadriplegic, and cannot end the relationship due to feelings of guilt. And the feud between the farms, which nobody ever mentions the real reason for, has become even worse. When shortly after her arrival, after Antonia’s parents perish in a fatal plane crash, Friedrich Kappes starts a real fight for his former property, the Voigt farm. Now, Antonia has to face the problems she ran away from seven years ago. She is confronted with her own and her family’s past, with a mixture of fears and lies, of misunderstandings and desire, and this time she can’t run away again...
