Whoever reports a tax sinner to the tax authorities in Klingsiehl, becomes a „preferred taxpayer“ and their own tax debt is erased. As soon as the farmer Kurt Brakelmann and his colleague Adsche Tönnsen hear these wonderful news, they immediately plot to report each other. But already at the exit of Büttenwarder technical difficulties make both friend-enemies go together – walking. In order to make up for the lost time, they take a shortcut through a thick forest. In Boddenbeeker Brache both farmers quickly become disoriented and end up walking in circles, confused. Slowly it gets dark. And when it’s dark in the forest, you can’t recognize anything! Brakelmann and Adsche are lost just a few yards away from home. They were about to report each other, but now they need each other desparately if they want to survive in the unknown wilderness...
