Worrying about their financial security is not really something farmer Kurt Brakelmann and his friend-enemy Adsche Tönnsen think about. They are already broke now! They look jealously at elderly people who do really well, men like Adsche’s Uncle Krischan, an old codger, about 104 years old and financially in a great situation due to several pensions. When Brakelmann finds out how much the old gentleman spends per month for his stay in a rather strict retirement home, he starts thinking of ways to make money again. Soon Brakelmann starts courting the old confused man. For financially much better conditions, Onkel Krischan is allowed to smoke and drink as much as his heart desires in Brakelmann’s home. Of course it doesn’t take long until Adsche Tönnsen has started working in the obviously very lucrative old person’s care as well. For a while it looks like just devotion and respect for older people are the keys for financial success. But soon the two farmers feel that their jovial guests are taking over the house. It is about time to start teaming up against the „gray hairs“...
