Wie erziehe ich meine Eltern?
The meeting of families Wolkenfuß and Freytag stands under an unfavorable star. By mistake, they bought the same duplex and were, of course, looking forward to moving in. This leads to a big fight and the children Felix and Johnny – nickname for Johanna - get to know their parents from a really bad side. Felix’ father, psychiatrist Dr. Wolkenfuß, and Johnny’s mother, dentist Edwina Freytag, both have no intentions on losing this silly dispute. Only the children, both 11 years old, are level-headed. In addition, they realize quickly that they have something in common: They have similar difficulties with the „education“ of their parents. No signs of family democracy and the right to vote for everyone – the grown-ups behave like tyrants. But the children do not think of accepting this situation. Together Johnny and Felix work on the „education of their parents“ – with charm and cheekiness, tricks and tips for each other. Neighbor, single Asta Engel-Butz, gets involved and starts the craziest entanglements. In addition to the unusual „education work“ of their children, Dr. Wolkenfuß and Edwina Freytag are stressed by their turbulent professions. They constantly encounter unusual patients, who often get involved in the private lives of the small families. And after some time Johnny and Felix have a plan: Two small families make one real family. But will this work out with their „uneducated“ parents?
